The Lomax 223 is a three-wheeled (hence 223) kit car based on the Citroen 2CV.
Or as I just read, it WAS. apparently there is no chance in Germany to get it on the road after you finished building it as they recently changed the regulations regarding these cars, so the manufacturer stopped production.
Pity really as this was probably one of the cheapest kit cars with bags of character.
Luckily there still is a four-wheeled version available, but regulations are getting tougher by the minute and that is about to kill the kit car scene in Germany slowly. I am very annoyed as you can’t really read anything about such changes in the news. You have to put yourself into it an browse the internet to get any info at all.

I think it is wrong what happens to the kit car scene over here. I saw what is possible in the U.K. and have to say, Germany as THE car nation is far behind that. Shameful really. We are losing cultural heritage here which would not cost anyone anything apart from those who cherish it.
It should be up to them what they want to do with their money and time…
